I ran across a few sayings Mom tucked away in the dresser I inherited. She wrote each on a card about the size
of a business card, and thought I’d post them for you today. I don’t know
where she got them, or why they are on the cards:
I love life and life loves me. I am happy as I can be.
Let all turmoil and anger cease. And make my home a home of peace
Increase your ability to think well of yourself. Only then can you help
your neighbor.
If you make demands let them be made of yourself.
Get rid of the posessions (sic) that are posessing (sic) you.
Now let me arise and all shine. For each day is good for me and mine.
God has given me a work to do and all I need to see it through.
